Top 10 Best Movies Of 2017

Now that I have dug through all the trash, it’s time for the best films of 2017. I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel like I ‘loved’ as many films in 2017 as compared to 2016 but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t good to great films in the year. I’m pretty positive that there will be films on my list that won’t make it on other people’s list, but that’s why it’s mine, so here are the Top 10 Best films of 2017 with a few honorable mentions.

Top 10 Worst Films of 2017

It’s that time of the year again, for me to take out 12 months of frustration on the worst pieces of trash that took a minimum of 20 hours out of my life. Now I have to note that there were a lot of bad movies in 2017 but only a select handful of them actually made me upset watching them. So a few films you won’t see on the list like Fifty Shades Darker and Wish Upon which were obviously bad movies, but had an enjoyment factor over how bad those movies were.  The films that made this list has no enjoyment factor, they are human trash. Here is the list of Top 10 worst movies of 2017 with some Honorable Mentions.

The Revival of TRL Is Dead On Arrival

No Identity, No Buzz, No Great Content, and No viewership. The TRL revival looks to be short-lived if things don’t improve ASAP. The revival of TRL is one that sounds good on paper, but even if they have brought back everyone from the original show in the original format, you simply can’t bring back the era that was the late 90s and early 2000s and MTV is finding that out the hard way.

Has Late Night Comedy Stop Being About Comedy?

At the end of the day, this isn’t about whether these guys have the right to say and do the things that they do. The argument is has late night comedy become too political to still be considered comedy? If you are a long time viewer of late night TV, can you still watch the current crop of shows and separate art from politics or has the current trend made it impossible to do so?

The Plot Thickens: Disney Reportedly Saved Agents of SHIELD From Cancellation (Follow Up)

No matter which side of the story you choose to believe, this latest development now has a lot of questions that need to be answered. Why did Disney step in and make the save for a struggling TV show? Did Disney also have input when it came to canceling Tim Allen’s show from the network? Why would they cancel a highly rated show while admittedly struggling for ratings with their other TV programs?
