So according to a new report by The Wall Street Journal, the budget for Justice League is somewhere in the ballpark of $300 million. The film’s ballooning budget was first due to a last-minute script rewrite by screenwriter Chris Terrio and director Zack Snyder, and also due to due to the film’s extensive reshoots.
No Identity, No Buzz, No Great Content, and No viewership. The TRL revival looks to be short-lived if things don’t improve ASAP. The revival of TRL is one that sounds good on paper, but even if they have brought back everyone from the original show in the original format, you simply can’t bring back the era that was the late 90s and early 2000s and MTV is finding that out the hard way.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about whether these guys have the right to say and do the things that they do. Why would they cancel a highly rated show while admittedly struggling for ratings with their other TV programs?
ABC claims the reason for their cancellation was the reason they cancelled the show was the did not want to continue comedies on the network for Friday night, I night they ironically use to thrive in with their T.G.I.F. lineup in the late 80s – early 90s. So if they simply didn’t want comedy on Friday nights, why not move the show to a new night?
In conclusion, Disney Channel Movies had a place in your heart if you were around at the right time. I recommend going back and watching the films yourself, i’m sure you can find a semi-legal site that has every film in question and more. You can’t recreate what once was, you can only relive it.
