Marvel Comics has spent decades selling a Gnostic inversion of biblical truth. Gnosticism taught that the material world is a prison created by a lesser, evil “demiurge,” while secret knowledge liberates the divine spark within. Marvel flips and popularizes this heresy: cosmic entities, multiverses, and “higher” beings often outrank any Creator figure, while ordinary humans discover they are secret gods, mutants, or chosen ones through hidden power.

From a Dispensational viewpoint, this is cultural conditioning for the strong delusion (2 Thess 2:9-12). In the Church Age, these stories desensitize audiences to the true God of Genesis 1, replace the biblical fall with “oppression by the system,” and elevate self-realization over repentance and faith in Christ. The Antichrist’s coming kingdom will traffic in exactly this kind of secret knowledge and false divinity (Rev 13).

Reject the comic-book gospel. The real Creator is not the demiurge, and salvation is not found in your “inner power.” Only the blood of the Jewish Messiah saves. Discern the times and look up — the Rapture is near!c
