Eternity. The old heaven and old earth have passed away. A new heaven and a new earth stand in perfect glory—no more sea of separation, no more night, no more tears. The New Jerusalem descends from heaven as a bride adorned for her husband—walls of jasper, twelve gates of pearl, streets of pure gold like transparent glass. The city does not need sun or moon; the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is its light.
