One day soon, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords (Phil 2:9-11; Rev 19:16). From a Dispensational premillennial viewpoint, after the Rapture of the Church, the Tribulation, and His glorious Second Coming, Christ will establish His literal 1,000-year Kingdom on earth (Rev 20:1-6). This Millennial Reign fulfills the unconditional Davidic Covenant (2 Sam 7:12-16): Jesus, the Son of David, will sit on the throne in Jerusalem, ruling the nations with a rod of iron (Ps 2; Isa 9:6-7). Israel will be fully restored in their land, the Temple rebuilt, and the earth will enjoy unprecedented peace, prosperity, and righteousness (Isa 2:2-4; 11:1-10; 65:20-25; Zech 14:9). Satan will be bound, creation will be liberated from the curse, and the nations will learn war no more. This Kingdom is the answer to the Lord’s Prayer: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The Church Age is ending. The King is coming. Are you ready to reign with Him?
