When it comes to Hollywood the golden pony that the industry loves the demon eyes whenever it’s time to create a villain is white dudes.

The popular version of white dudes Hollywood loves to hate is of course Nazis but when they can’t go back to the 1940s they have to go with the modern version which is neo-nazis with Confederate flags who love Jesus. When you see the trailer for the film The Order, there was a slight hope That the film wouldn’t be what you expected it to be, which is a thinly veiled attack on the Progressive left favorite target racist, white dudes.
However, by the time you get to the end credits you’re going to find that against your best hopes that this is what the film turned out to be. What makes this film even more egregious is the fact that they had to lie about the true story of what happened to better demonize who the filmmakers wanted to demonize.
This is not a story about a Mormon cult that tried to go up against members of the United States government and failed miserably, no this is an allegory and a warning against Trump supporters on January 6th. Set in 1983 on the cusp of the Pacific Northwest.

FBI Agent Terry Huss played by Jude Law has come into town to investigate a group of white supremacists who he believes are building a threat against the United States of America. A group called The Order, is your typical Neo-Nazi unit however this group has been involved in multiple armed robberies which suggests that the group has a much bigger plan in play.
The leader of this group, played by Nicholas Holt Is Bob Matthews, And he is committed to making a statement in the war for the white race. Unwilling to listen to other members of his group, Bob wants to act now to stop the Jews in the minorities from taking over his country.
Agent Husk teams up with a young Local police officer who helps him investigate the order to figure out what they have planned. The Order is going to be catnip for people who are still recovering from the 2024 election that they lost in a landslide.

To those people, the entire country has been taken over by white supremacist who hates gays, minorities, and loves their God. The Order plays up to the left-wing fear that the biggest threat to our society is white supremacy.
Of course, to do that the film has to intentionally deceive some key factors in the story. Bob Matthews, who was the real life leader of the order, the white supremacist group that attempted to attack high-profile people in the 1980s, was not a Christian. Matthews and the members of his group were Mormons.
Mormons who do not follow the truth of the Bible but instead follow the words of a false prophet named Joseph Smith were the group responsible for this mischief. The film intentionally omits the Mormon ties to the group to demonize Christianity under the belief that Mormons and Christians are the same when they’re not.

When you understand that you understand that this film has less to do with telling the truth about what happened and more about creating a narrative about what happened. This is a film that was created due to the response of January 6th, the event that the left still lies about today claiming that a bunch of white supremacists tried to overthrow the government by walking around the chambers of Congress.
The film goes as far as to compare January 6th, an event where the only person who died was shot in the face by a police officer, to the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people and injured over 800 more. This is the level of disingenuousness that you’re dealing with when it comes to the attention of this movie.
Jude Law tries to play a gritty FBI agent who’s a bit of a wild card yet him being the protagonist of the film fails at giving the audience anyone to attach themselves to. For a film that tries to be a gritty Thriller, there isn’t much excitement to have for this film that due to a slant it’s very painted by the numbers.

Tye Sheridan is the best part of the film presenting audiences with the only likable character in the movie consumed by Nazis and corrupt FBI agents. The Order is a film with one objective, to make a connection between the Reagan Era 1980s to the 2024 Trump era and make a statement blaming both for white supremacy and failing.
If you want a film that tackles the dangers of white supremacism far better than this film could ever dream of, 2015’s Green Room is a film that is far more effective than this.
