Earlier this week, Hulu officially canceled High Fidelity starring actress Zoe Kravitz and she was not happy about it. Kravitz slammed the Disney-owned company for its lack of diversity just 24 hours after the announcement was made.
Zoe took to Instagram to thank her castmates.
“I wanna give a shout out to my #highfidelity family. Thank you for all the love and heart you put into this show. I’m in awe of all of you. And thank you to everyone who watched, loved, and supported us. #breakupssuck,” she wrote.
Actress Tessa Thompson replied to Kravitz’s post: “I will miss you alllllllllllll so much.”
In which Kravitz responded: “It’s cool. At least Hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of color we can watch. Oh, wait.”
High Fidelity was a series on Hulu described as a feminist retelling of the 2000 film (and Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel) of the same name. Despite the gaslighting from Hollywood celebrities, the show didn’t find much of an audience with Hulu Subscribers as it was canceled after just one season.
