Episode one ties three threads the world keeps separate. October 7, 2023, was not a random raid. From a Dispensational reading, the attack on Israel fits the long pattern of nations gathered against Jerusalem and the promise that God will yet defend His land and people (Zechariah 9:1–8; 12:2–9). Zechariah 9 also points past the violence to the King who came lowly, riding on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9), and who will return in power.

Christa Pike’s case is a grim picture of human depravity: a convicted killer whose crime shocked Tennessee and whose appeals have dragged on for decades. Scripture does not romanticize such evil. It calls it sin, and it warns that judgment is real.

The Church Age is still open. The same Book that predicted Israel’s trouble also offers salvation by faith alone in Christ. Watch, open Zechariah, and do not sleep.
