The episode opens in the heavenly realm. Suzie Wong wanders through radiant fields of light, still in the white robe of the redeemed, confused by the transition. She looks around, searching, until a familiar figure approaches—Ken Ichijouji, radiant, smiling gently for the first time since the rapture. “Ken?” Suzie whispers, tears welling. He embraces her. “It’s time to go home, Suzie.” Takato, Kazu, Sigma, Jeri, and Hideto meet them in the realm.
