The episode opens in the heart of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount plaza is a scene of tension: soldiers in riot gear form a perimeter, crowds gather in uneasy clusters, some filming on phones, others kneeling in awe or defiance. Takato and Kazu reach the center. Takato freezes. Kazu whispers, “That’s… that’s them.” The witnesses turn. The man with the staff, tall, regal, face etched with ancient authority, looks directly at Takato. “You have come far, children of the remnant. You have been called. ”The other fierce, eyes like flames, nod. “I am Elijah. This is Moses.”
