The episode opens amid the timeless sandstone ruins of Amman, Jordan, where the call to prayer echoes over ancient hillsides and the Citadel’s Roman columns stand as silent sentinels of empires long fallen. Emmanuel gathers in a discreet, fortified safehouse perched high above the city—a modest stone building with reinforced doors and blackout curtains, chosen for its strategic overlook and symbolic resonance: standing against the idols of old.
