Lust isn’t just “looking”—Jesus declares that whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart (Matt 5:28). From a Dispensational viewpoint, in this Church Age of grace, lust is a fleshly battle (Gal 5:16-17) fueled by Satan’s deceptions (Eph 2:2-3), aiming to derail believers from holy living and evangelism before the Rapture (1 Thess 4:3-5).The Bible calls lust deceitful (Eph 4:22), dishonoring others and disregarding God (1 Thess 4:5). It promises fulfillment but delivers bondage—leading to spiritual defeat if unchecked.
