In a moment that has stunned the world, millions have disappeared without trace—pilots from cockpits, drivers from highways, parents from dinner tables. Governments scramble for explanations; scientists invoke mass psychosis.

While the world gives you many different reasons for the global disappearance of millions of people, the Bible, the sole arbiter of truth recognizes the event described in 1 Thessalonians 4:17: the rapture of the church. The trumpet has sounded, and the faithful are gone. What remains is the seven-year tribulation foretold in the book of Revelation, a period of divine wrath unparalleled in human history.

For the non-believer suddenly confronted with this reality, the question is urgent: How to endure the coming seals, trumpets, and vials—or, failing endurance, how to die in a state that secures Heaven rather than the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15)? The entire book of Revelation issues stark warnings. From these, seven requirements emerge as non-negotiable for salvation during this final dispensation. Failure in any dooms the soul; obedience in all offers hope amid catastrophe.

The Seven Requirements for Salvation in the Tribulation

  1. Refuse the Mark of the Beast in the Right Hand or Forehead
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark” (Revelation 13:16-17). The mark—whatever its final form—seals eternal damnation. Survival without it will mean starvation or execution, but taking it guarantees “the wine of the wrath of God” (Revelation 14:10). Refuse it at all costs.
  2. Worship Not the Beast Nor His Image (Avoid Islam)
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life” (Revelation 13:8). The Antichrist’s global cult will demand obeisance. Bowing to his image or swearing allegiance, even under torture, forfeits the soul. “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark… the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God” (Revelation 14:9-10).
  3. Endure unto the End or Be Beheaded for the Testimony of Jesus
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11). Martyrdom by beheading is explicitly honored: “I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus… and they lived and reigned with Christ” (Revelation 20:4). Physical survival is secondary; dying faithful is sufficient.
  4. Keep the Commandments of God
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). The law written in the conscience (Romans 2:15) must now be obeyed literally—no murder, no theft, no idolatry. Grace is absent; works are evidenced.
  5. Hold Fast the Faith of Jesus
The same verse pairs commandment-keeping with “the faith of Jesus.” This is not mere intellectual assent but active trust in Christ’s atoning blood, proclaimed openly despite persecution. “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth” (Revelation 14:13).
  6. Hear and Heed the Everlasting Gospel Preached by the Angel
“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth… Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come” (Revelation 14:6-7). When this angelic messenger appears on global screens or in the sky, believe the message immediately. It is the final universal invitation before the harvest of wrath.
  7. Come Out of Babylon the Great (The Roman Catholic Church)
“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). The coming one-world religious-economic system, centered in a literal rebuilt city, will be destroyed in one hour. Flee its commerce, its sacraments, its false christs.

The Narrow Path Ahead

These seven are not suggestions but divine imperatives, drawn verbatim from Revelation’s warnings. The tribulation saint has no church, no rapture escape, no pre-forgiven future sins. Each day will test allegiance: Will you eat and damn your soul, or starve and live forever? Will you hide your faith to spare your neck, or confess Christ and lose your head—only to gain a crown?

The lake of fire is not metaphor but “the second death” (Revelation 20:14). Heaven is not earned but entered solely by meeting Revelation’s literal criteria. The vanished millions are beyond reach; the seven years have begun. Choose this day whom you will serve, for tomorrow the next seal may break.
