In an age of global uncertainty, calls for religious harmony have gained momentum, with initiatives like the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi and ongoing Catholic-Muslim dialogues promoting shared values against common foes such as extremism and secularism.

Yet a literal reading of the King James Bible (KJB) paints these efforts—often dubbed “Chrislam” for their blending of Christian and Islamic elements—as a profound spiritual deception. Drawing from Revelation 17 and Daniel 2, this analysis warns that such alliances could empower a future Islamic caliphate (the “beast”) under the Antichrist (the Mahdi), leading to the harlot’s (Roman Catholic Church, or RCC) destruction and the deaths of billions during the seven-year Great Tribulation.

Far from fostering peace, these unions risk fulfilling prophecy’s darkest chapters: betrayal, persecution, and divine judgment. Revelation 17 introduces “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots” (v. 5)—a woman arrayed in purple and scarlet, holding a golden cup of abominations (v. 4), sitting on seven hills (v. 9, Rome/Vatican) and drunk with the blood of saints (v. 6, Inquisition). She rides a scarlet beast with seven heads and ten horns (v. 3), committing “fornication” with kings (v. 2).

The beast, empowered by Satan (Revelation 13:2), ultimately hates the harlot, making her “desolate and naked,” eating her flesh and burning her with fire (v. 16). Daniel 2 complements this: Nebuchadnezzar’s statue ends with feet of iron and clay—partly strong, partly broken (v. 42). “They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another” (v. 43)—a brittle alliance smashed by Christ’s kingdom (v. 44–45).

Modern “Chrislam” echoes this fatal mingling. The 2019 Abu Dhabi Declaration, signed by Pope Francis and Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb, asserts God “wills the diversity of religions” and calls for “human fraternity.” Its fruit: the Abrahamic Family House (opened 2023), uniting a church, mosque, and synagogue.

U.S. Catholic-Muslim dialogues (e.g., 2025 NCMD meeting) address “polarization” and the Holy Land, while Nigerian Chrislam sects like Ifeoluwa blend Bible and Quran, proclaiming “you can’t be Christian without being Muslim.” Pope Francis’ messages frame Muslims as “brothers” adoring “the one God” (Nostra Aetate, 1965; CCC 841).These alliances, against “common enemies,” empower the beast—a revived Islamic caliphate led by the Mahdi (Antichrist).

Hadiths describe him rising from Khorasan with black flags (Ibn Majah)—ISIS/al-Qaeda’s banners—conquering Syria, ruling Jerusalem 7–9 years, enforcing Sharia. His sidekick Isa (False Prophet) descends in Damascus, breaks crosses, abolishes Christianity (Bukhari). This matches Revelation 13: a Middle Eastern empire (Daniel 7’s beasts: Iraq/Iran/Syria/Rome), denying Jesus (1 John 2:22), ruling 42 months, demanding a mark (v. 16–17). A “healed deadly wound” (v. 3) could be a revived caliphate post-ISIS.

Catholic-Islam unity rides this beast: RCC influence (iron) merges with Islamic strength (clay), but does not cleave—Islam’s endgame destroys Christianity (Hadiths; Revelation 17:16). The seven-year tribulation (Daniel 9:27) begins with a false covenant, breaks at the midpoint with the “abomination of desolation” (Matthew 24:15), unleashing persecution.

Billions die via war, famine, plagues (Revelation 6 seals), the beast’s slaughter (13:7), and God’s wrath (16 vials). Revelation 14:9–11: worshiping the beast/mark means “the wine of the wrath of God… torment with fire and brimstone.” The deception is Satanic (2 Corinthians 11:14).

Equating Allah with the God of the Bible ignores Islam’s denial of Christ’s deity and crucifixion (Quran 4:157)—the antichrist spirit (1 John 2:22). Galatians 1:8: any other gospel is accursed. 2 Corinthians 6:14–15: “What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?” Unity dilutes the gospel (Acts 4:12), damning souls while accelerating the beast’s rise. Daniel 2:44: Christ’s kingdom—not interfaith mingling—prevails. Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her, my people.”

True believers must reject Chrislam, preach Christ alone, and heed Matthew 24:4: “Take heed that no man deceive you.” The Great Deception could cost billions their lives—and eternity.
