The Feast of Trumpets, also known as Rosh Hashanah, is the next feast to be fulfilled on the prophetic calendar. Among its symbolism, it is most closely tied to the rapture. Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that the resurrection will happen “at the shout and trumpet of an angel.” This is a direct reference to the Feast of Trumpets, which features the blowing of trumpets. It symbolizes the moment Christ will return for His church. Given that the first four feasts were fulfilled on their specific feast days, many believe the rapture may similarly occur on the Feast of Trumpets.
