Birth of the Dragon Review

Birth of the Dragon only scratches the surface of the life of Bruce Lee and the biggest crime here is that the runtime doesn’t allow a greater story to be told. With that said the film is fine and is at least enjoyable, but if you are looking for a more in-depth story about the battle these two had in the bowels of the Bay Area, you are better off doing your own research.

The Adventurers Review

The Adventurers is simply a miss with some decent visuals and technology, but those little spider bots aren’t going to make anyone watch or remember this film.

Logan Lucky Review

Logan Lucky is a good movie, the cast has a great time playing their roles and it shows. The problem is the film is not very original and very clichéd. The story becomes way too convenient in order for everything to work out and takes away from the risk of the heist. That doesn’t mean you won’t have a good time watching it because you will, and perhaps you learn a thing or two about NASCAR when it’s all said and done…like why you don’t watch it.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard Review

The Hitman’s Bodyguard works as a action B movie, but is constantly dragged down by the need to also be a comedy. If this film could figure out what it wanted to identify as today, this may have been a better result for everyone involved.

Wind River Review

Wind River, which is still a good movie needs more polishing to be a great movie. One thing is for sure, Taylor Sheridan is the real deal and has quickly become one of the best screening writers in Hollywood.

Annabelle: Creation Review

Fans of The Conjuring will see many Easter Eggs in the film that ties much of the series together and brings us back to square one. Annabelle: Creation is a very entertaining horror film and if you can overlook a lot of plot induced stupidity, there is a great time to have here.

Detroit Review (Ft. Steven Crowder)

While it’s important not to shadow history it’s also important to context the events to truly understand what happened and why. Many people will watch this and think everything that happened here happened in real life which is not the case at all.

The Dark Tower Review

The Dark Tower suffers from not having enough time to tell the story that was needed. Missed opportunity is what you will hear repeated by critics and fans and they are correct. However, don’t let the RT score fool you, the film isn’t as bad as advertised, but it is a disappointment for those who have been waiting years to see this story told on the big screen.

Atomic Blonde Review

Now I’ve heard many people complain about this film based on the fact they cannot buy a 130-pound woman beating up men 3x her size, while I do agree to a degree, I’ll leave the science of this film to people like Steven Crowder.

The Emoji Movie Review

The only reason this film exists is because Sony wanted some Ad Revenue and used a bunch of tech companies to give product placement. The Emoji Movie is a certified lock for Top 10 Worst Films Of 2017, avoid at all costs.
