The far-left echo chamber known as Hollywood has created some dangerous and downright depressing illusions for those that sell their soul to live in the bubble.

No better window into this sad lifestyle than the latest Saturday Night Live skit from comedienne Cecily Strong who returned to the show to tell her story about how her abortion saved her comedy career.

Strong appeared on the show as a clown named Goober to attack pro-life legislation in Texas, stating, “I know I wouldn’t be a clown on TV here today if it weren’t for the abortion I had.”

“Here’s my truth. I know I wouldn’t be a clown on TV here today if it weren’t for the abortion I had the day before my 23rd birthday,” 

Strong later admitted that the story she told was true, she really did get an abortion 15 years ago and didn’t even tell her close relatives.

“I didn’t tell my own wonderful and supportive mom for years and Saturday I told live TV,” Strong wrote

The most troubling part of this story isn’t the abortion itself, it is the cope that Strong has created that is a common cope in left-wing circles, the cope that I wouldn’t have achieved my dreams without getting an abortion.

I would have never been a television star if I didn’t get an abortion…

This isn’t the first time we have heard this sentiment from Hollywood, and it won’t be the last time. A few years ago, actress Michelle Williams credited her abortion during her Golden Gloves acceptance, saying that she couldn’t have won her Golden Statue without terminating her pregnancy…

Strong claims she wouldn’t have been a TV star without her abortion but she didn’t join the cast of SNL until 2012, which would have been 6 years after her abortion. Apparently being a parent is frowned upon in The Second City.

While Hollywood lectures America on the subject of morality, the morality of Hollywood continues to reveal itself as a vapid pit of emotional despair.

Strong’s child would have turned 15 this year.
