After years of selling out the American cinema audience in favor of big payouts from the international market, Hollywood has officially lost the #1 worldwide box office spot to China.

Now, after years of the left eating their own complaining about their lack of diversity of their award shows, Hollywood’s #2 award ceremony is no more…at least for next year.

The 2022 Golden Globes have been officially canceled on NBC after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the organization responsible for presenting the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, faces fire over accusations of corruption and a lack of diversity.

“NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes,” the Comcast-owned network added. “Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”

NBC’s announcement arrives as WarnerMedia, Netflix, and Amazon cut ties with the HFPA as the organization moves to enact reforms to address what the studios call longstanding issues about the organization lack of non-white members.

The HFPA has already committed to having 13 percent black membership after it was criticized for not having a black journalist among its members, and after 100 PR firms sent a letter demanding the organization make changes but those demands don’t go far enough for Hollywood.

Hollywood has spend decades making enemies out of the American right and now a progressive civil war is breaking out between the woke and those deemed not woke enough.

As long as Hollywood maintains their deathgrip on the American Film Industry, the future of cinema is looking bleak.
