“What if this backfires on us?”

A question that no progressive in Hollywood as ever asked until actress Emily Ratajkowski questioned the limits of online censorship by Silicon Valley giants.

On Thursday, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg made the decision to ban President Donald Trump from Facebook and Instagram indefinitely with the likelihood of a permanent ban around the corner. Why leftists celebrate the censorship of their political enemies, Ratajkowski wonders if silicon valley is creating a weapon that will one day be used against them.

Ratajkowski made the following comments on Twitter:

“This gives Facebook/tech/Zuck THE MOST POWER. If he can shut the president up/off he can shut any of us up/off”

“Anyone else feel like proper amount of capital police being absent/letting Trump people in/providing insane visuals of MAGA dudes on the floor of the house was wildly convenient to justifying big tech’s rollout of censorship?”

“My concern is that this gives big tech the opportunity to shut down “leftist extremists” who are important political organizers.”
