LeBron James Takes A Stand Against Guns As Cities Burn To The Ground

While speaking to reporters following Monday night’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said that black people feel like they are being “hunted” right now.

As the United States watches in real time businesses being looted, citizens being beaten to death on the streets, and cities burning to the ground due to Black Lives Matter rioters, LeBron James seems to believe that guns are the problem because they make black people safe unsafe.

While speaking to reporters following Monday night’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said that black people feel like they are being “hunted” right now.

“I think Firearms are a huge issue in America. I don’t how you clean that up. I’m not saying that I got all the answers, but guns are a huge issue in America. They’re not used for just hunting, that a lot of people do for sport. For Black people right now, we hear hunting we think you’re hunting us.”

James has long been an anti-gun activist praising far left organizations such as the March For Our Lives. Unfortunately for James, Americans are witnessing in real time why the need for firearms is so important. Without them, you are at the mercy of the mob and they have made it clear they do not care about your livelihood.

Following the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, armed citizens were forced to protect their communities after Black Lives Matter rioters began to burn down their businesses and police officer stood back forced to stand down.

Jacob Blake entangled in a physical scuffle with police prior to being shot as he ignored officers’ warnings and reached inside his car. Blake was charged by Kenosha County prosecutors prior to his altercation with the police on accusations of sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse.

An arrest warrant had been issued on July 7th as Blake had a history of resisting arrest, having previously done so when officers attempted to arrest him following an incident in which he pulled a gun on bar patrons in Racine, a town just north of Kenosha, in 2015.
