Lionsgate and Oprah Winfrey are coming together to bring The New York Times’ “1619 Project” to the big screens and small screens, thus rewriting American history to condemn America as racist and oppressive.

The 1619 project seeks to rewrite American history to be built around slavery and not liberty and independence. The series’ central theme was that America’s true founding wasn’t 1776 but 1619, the year that slaves from Africa were first brought to the colonies.

The 1619 Project condemns capitalism as an oppressive totalitarian system that victimizes black Americans. The project also rewrites history to claim that slavery was the motivation behind the revolutionary war that lead to America’s independence in 1776.

The Marxist condemnation of American history, as well as the country as a whole, has drawn rave reviews from progressives which awarded the extremely flawed essay a Pulitzer Prize Commentary Award to Nikole Hannah-Jones, a staff writer for The New York Times Magazine who was the creator of the 1619 Project.

“We took very seriously our duty to find TV and film partners that would respect and honor the work and mission of ‘The 1619 Project,’ that understood our vision and deep moral obligation to doing justice to these stories,” Nikole Hannah-Jones said.

Several prominent historians, including one who consulted on the series itself, have disputed the claim that the Revolutionary War was fought to preserve slavery as well as the narrative that anti-black racism runs in the very DNA of this country.

Hannah-Jones made headlines last month after she said it’d be an “honor” if violent and deadly riots in the wake of George Floyd’s death were remembered as the “1619 Riots.”

Lionsgate will create feature films, television series, documentaries, and various forms of unscripted content while Winfrey has come aboard as a producer.

Winfrey tweeted: “When the #1619Project came out almost a year ago, I stood in tearful applause for the profound offering that it was giving our culture and nation. Today, I am honored to be a part of @nhannahjones’ vision to bring her transformative work to a global audience. Stay tuned, y’all!”

Nikole Hannah-Jones is a f***ing hack and a history rewriter. And this deal is what could cause an investigation within Hollywood(especially Lionsgate) by the Trump administration and investigate potential corruption within the Pulitzer Prize community as well.

    1. No, I highly doubt that. I think it will increase if Biden wins, since his master Barack Obama caused this trend to increase.

  3. This makes me giggle a bit. I was in an industry where AA was a big thing for 30 years. Wasn’t touched myself but had friends who lost management jobs because a far less qualified woman was given the post – and then she left work to become a housewife. OTOH, one of my best managers was an actually qualified woman who would have merited the post regardless.
