Hollywood raised millions of dollars for The Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) as names such as Chrissy Teigen, Seth Rogen, Janelle Monáe, Steve Carrell, and Don Cheadle proudly put their money to bailing out “protesters” during the early days of the riots in Minnesota week ago.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund is now facing backlash after they revealed on Twitter that it has spent around $200,000 out of the 35 million dollars raised to bail out ‘protesters’.

“Appreciate all those calling for transparency. We see y’all. Our values and mission have not changed since 2016. Be on the lookout for things coming on our end. Be well,”

“Without jeopardizing the safety of the folks we bailed out we paid well over $200k in the weeks since the uprising alone. We are working on doing more.” the organization said.

There are now serious questions about what happened to all the money that was raised and Twitter users are NOT happy about has happened.

One response to “Hollywood Raised 35 Million For The Minnesota Freedom Fund…They Only Spent 200k On ‘Protesters’”

  1. According to this map:

There are something like 40 businesses or buildings that suffered “major damage”. Just guessing, but if you gave each one of those businesses an average of $200,000 – or what you could build a small single family home for in Minnisota, then they could all be repaired and brought back on line. That’s 8 million dollars, so the 36 million should be able to clean up the entire city including the “minor damage”, graffiti and replace the police building that burned down. Of course, it’s possible I could be off by factor of 10 if you include bribes and campaign contributions.
