It hasn’t been a good day for people using their platform to preach unity.
Actor Terry Crews is the latest victim of using social media to preach togetherness only to be attacked for not being woke enough to deliver the message.
On Sunday night, Crews with to Twitter to warn against racial divisiveness and his message was not well received.
“Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth.
Like it or not, we are all in this together.”

Terry’s message was swiftly met with messages of hostility and anger by members of Black Twitter.
Every time I think Terry Crews has done the worst, he always does more. https://t.co/EpIAB35HhD

Dear Terry Crews,
You showed us time & time again that you weren’t sh*t, most recently with not standing by Gabrielle Union so you could keep your job. This seals the deal. pic.twitter.com/Xfl9Xxdlpt

Why not just stick to tweeting about things you know? Like the complexities of shucking or intricate steps involved in jiving?
But nah. Terry Crews would rather explain why the people who created and perpetuated white supremacy must be protected when dismantling white supremacy. https://t.co/Ck2rP9NEAR

Much like Mark Wahlberg, some users went to Crews’s defense as he was getting attacked by the mob of social justice.
Everybody is coming for Terry Crews now. For the sin of promoting equality. God, we need you. Help. https://t.co/TSb90oLiea

Terry Crews will be slammed by the elites and the useful idiots for this Tweet, yet he's saying exactly what past civil rights movements were all about, equal rights for everyone and moving beyond racial division. Amazingly, that is now considered controversial. https://t.co/dGwcEBm0xh
