The left in this country believes that the rebel Confederate flag should not be displayed because it is racist and it’s a symbol of slavery…well, apparently they also believe that the other team’s flag is just as racist and it’s also a symbol of slavery. It’s almost as if they just hate everything about this country.

On Monday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Nike has decided to pull their America-themed 4th of July sneakers which featured the 13 colonies Betsy Ross flag after former NFL quarterback and Nike pitchman Colin Kaepernick complained about the “offensive symbolism” of the flag. What is the offensive symbolism? The flag of the 13 colonies represents racism and slavery according to Kaepernick.

According to the WSJ:

The sneaker giant created the Air Max 1 USA in celebration of the July Fourth holiday, and it was slated to go on sale this week. The heel of the shoe featured a U.S. flag with 13 white stars in a circle, a design created during the American Revolution and commonly referred to as the Betsy Ross flag.
After shipping the shoes to retailers, Nike asked for them to be returned without explaining why, the people said. The shoes aren’t available on Nike’s own apps and websites.
‘Nike has chosen not to release the Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July as it featured the old version of the American flag,’ a Nike spokeswoman said.
After images of the shoe were posted online, Mr. Kaepernick, a Nike endorser, reached out to company officials saying that he and others felt the Betsy Ross flag is an offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery, the people said. Some users on social media responded to posts about the shoe with similar concerns. Mr. Kaepernick declined to comment.

Last year, Nike signed Kaepernick to a multi-million dollar endorsement deal following his national anthem protest which started in 2016. Kaepernick started to protest the American National Anthem because he viewed the flag as a symbol of racism and oppression. Despite the fact that his supporters have tried to convince everyone that he was not protesting the country or the flag, Kaepernick made his intentional crystal clear that in his own words:

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color.”

It doesn’t matter what flag you decide to represent whether it’s the Besty Ross flag, the rebel flag, or even the current 50-star flag because the left hates all of them and symbolizes patriotism with racism, why? Because they HATE this country and this has always been the endgame. So don’t forget to wear your American flags proud this fourth of July.

  1. Colin Kaepernick should have been labeled a criminal for this bullcrap he’s doing. But thanks to both the media and SJWs(the real dictators), we’re still dealing with Kaepernick’s bullcrap!

  2. Kaepernick is the creation of the Democratic party controlled media in the same way Code Pink was during the Iraq war. When Obama became President the wars didn’t end but the anti-war demonstrations disappeared from sight. Thereby rendering them politically impotent to harm the new President. There’s a million bitter failures out there who blame the country instead of themselves for their problems. It takes an information infrastructure controlled by leftists to weaponize the famous ones into political tools.
