Yesterday, Silicon Valley elites decided that people like Laura Loomer and Paul Joseph Watson were ‘too dangerous’ to be allowed on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. They also made it known that anyone who posts ANYTHING that is of support of the people that they banned would also lead to that individual receiving a ban themselves. Well, one person who looks to be directly challenging Facebook and Instagram is rapper Snoop Dogg, but he isn’t defending Watson or Loomer, he is defending Minister Louis Farrakhan who was also banned.

While liberals celebrated the banning of Alex Jones and other right-wing personalities from social media, there was one person who they were not happy about being banned and that was Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan who is well known for his Anti-Semitic comments about Jewish people was initially called a “right wing” figure until it was called out that Farrakhan has long been a man championed by the left including figures like former President Barack Obama. Snoop Dogg strongly protested Farrakhan’s ban in a video posted to Instagram, he said,

“The fuck y’all gonna ban Minister Louis Farrakhan? For puttin’ truth out there? I stand with him. Ban me, mothafucka. Ban me, ‘cause I’m gonna keep posting his shit. There’s a bunch of motherfuckers you all can ban, but you choose Minister Louis Farrakhan.”

Snoop who joined the Nation of Islam in 2009, In another video, urged his supporters to back up Farrakhan.

“Post your favorite Minister Farrakhan video on your Facebook or Instagram page. Show some love to a real brother. Post it right now. He got footage everywhere. If you ain’t got none snatch it off of YouTube, it’s everywhere. Put up some Minister Louis Farrakhan footage. Show some love. Show what he really be talking ‘bout. Educate the truth. Can’t ban all of us.”

Facebook and Instagram have stated that will remove any content containing Infowars videos, radio segments, or articles (unless the post is explicitly condemning the content), and Facebook will also remove any groups set up to share Infowars content and events promoting any of the banned extremist figures, according to a company spokesperson.

Well…Snoop Dogg is clearly promoting the extremist figures Louis Farrakhan on his platform, will they punish him? Or will they look the other way because this was never about silencing Farrakhan, but silencing people who could help a certain president win re-election in 2020? We’ll see.
