So what do you do when former Late Night great Jay Leno calls you out for a lack of civility in your industry? Easy. Call the president ‘terrible’ and smear Fox News hosts as racist white supremacists, because you are morally superior to them.

Last Night, Jimmy Kimmel defended himself after being accused of being obsessed with negativity surrounding Donald Trump and of course, he doubles down with even more late night hate of Trump.

I don’t want to talk about Donald Trump every night, None of us do. None of us who host these shows do, but he gives us no choice. If he sat in the White House all day quietly working on things I would almost never mention him because it’s not interesting, but before 10 a.m. today, before 10 o’clock this morning: his former campaign chairman was sentenced to prison for the second time in a week, he called himself the most successful president in history, and he tweeted to let people know his wife hasn’t been replaced by a body double. I’m not supposed to mention that? Obama wore mom jeans one time we made jokes about it for six straight years.

How about this: you stop being terrible, we’ll stop pointing it out.

Then there was Samantha Bee who wasn’t just happy with attacking Trump on a nightly basis but also went after Fox News host Tucker Carlson by calling him a racist and a white supremacist.

Carlson who progressives try to get fired from his highly rated cable news program once every six weeks, recently angered them again with comments that he made during the ‘Bubba The Love Sponge’ radio show over 10 years ago. Carlson refused to apologize to the mob so Bee went after him in a profanity laced rant.

You naughty little bad boy, advocating genocide. Well, guess what fucko, we have been watching your show and we found it’s a revolting trash heap of racist talking points. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Tucker Carlson is a white supremacist. Oh no, I’m sorry, yes I am.

Tucker has spent nearly 20 years getting paid to be an angry white man on three cable news networks, only two of which have fired him, so far. Playing to white victimhood is his whole schtick, yet he claims he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

In response to Carlson saying he doesn’t even know what white nationalism means, Bee said, “That’s OK, Tucker, there’s a show on Fox that can teach you all about it.”

Late Night ‘comedy’ ladies and gentleman…Now you know why Leno denounced the current state of late night comedy in a recent interview.
