Samantha Bee did not want to talk about the Roseanne Barr’s story this week, probably because she couldn’t lecture her about being offensive five minutes before calling Ivanka Trump a feckless cunt on her show. Bee was talking about the ‘controversy’ involving Ivanka Trump who was attacked by progressives for posting a picture of herself with her son amid the reports about the Trump’s Administration weighing a policy that would separate families who are caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally as a way to discourage more arrivals.

“Ivanka Trump, who works at the White House, chose to post the second most oblivious tweet we’ve seen this week,” Bee said. “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless cunt!”

The comment rubbed a lot of people the wrong way not only coming off the heels of Roseanne’s racist tweet but from those criticizing what is suppose to be a ‘comedy’ show

It was only a few weeks ago that Samantha Bee was the subject of another controversy involving the Trumps as supported Democratic New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman as a Superhero against Trump just months before he was accused of physically abusing four women.

No word yet if Bee will receive any heat for her comments but I suspect that she won’t because “it’s just comedy” after all.
