After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to Wakanda. He soon finds his sovereignty challenged by factions within his own country. When two enemies conspire to bring down the kingdom, T’Challa must team up, as the Black Panther, with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje—Wakanda’s special forces—to prevent a world war.
Thoughts: I don’t know what it is about this film, but I’m still not getting the hype for this movie. The film looks like every other Marvel movie and it doesn’t have that OMG moment that hooks you into committing to the release date. Not saying it doesn’t look good, but I got more hype out of Thor 3 and I can’t stand the Thor movies. Seems like just the same ole same ole except it has a black cast and hip-hop music. It will be entertaining to watch critics walk on eggshells criticising this movie. It will be like poking a stick in the ground in Iraq until February 2018. BTW Michael B Jordan’s African accent sounds painful compared to Chadwick Boseman’s.
